In 1989, 19-year-old Mr. Raja co-founded Saravana Industries to escape poverty but eventually became the sole decision-maker, leading to his exit by the silent partners. In 1999, he started Mano Products, named after his mother, with his brother Mr. Saravanan.
Initially producing labour-intensive moulded cones, the company pivoted in 2015 by importing an automatic rolled sugar cone machine, targeting premium customers like Indian ice cream brands.
