In 1989, 19-year-old Mr. Raja co-founded Saravana Industries to escape poverty but eventually became the sole decision-maker, leading to his exit by the silent partners. In 1999, he started Mano Products, named after his mother, with his brother Mr. Saravanan. Initially producing labour-intensive moulded cones, the company pivoted in 2015 by importing an automatic rolled sugar cone machine, targeting premium customers like Indian ice cream brands. In 2016, Mano Products expanded vertically by launching a sister company for corrugated boxes and importing machines for aluminium cone sleeves. By 2022, they further expanded to print cone sleeves using aluminium rolls.
